Challenging the conventions of an eveningwear dress, this one- shoulder ensemble features a side seam on the outside with subtle details. The teardrop shape drape and side seam are adorned with crystals. From the Sal forests of Jharkhand, a protein textured thread is cultivated into tussar silk- used on the applique and side seam in its natural color. Cut from an ahimsa mulberry silk fabric, developed without killing the silkworms, the dress is constructed in panels for a tailored fit.
